Who was the Farmer's Daughter? I'd love to know, quilt block names are a mystery to me! One of the things I really like about this block is it’s simplicity, and yet it has quite a bit of visual interest. Even though it’s clearly a traditional design, it still translates well into modern quilts. One of my favorite Quilt Blocks - perfect for Spring! Did you know watching the flight path of geese was used as a guide to find water, food and places to rest?
