I love fall - the crisp mornings, cool evenings, the colors and harvest! Can there be to much golds, reds and rusts?
  • This block is often called Flower Basket - however as I continue to learn about how blocks are named, the source I was reading said it was known by several other names but didn't share what they were! I love how simple it looks, but let me tell you, that's a lot of half square triangles in there, which is anything except simple! Happy to make this in any color combination!

  • Flower Basket Block - funny how quickly you can change the flavor of a block by changing colors! I think this gray peppercorn and washed off peppercorn make a striking pair. I call it rustic elegant - what would you say it is?
  • I love these Christmas Trees - No chopping or falling needles with these trees! It measures 12 x 12 x 1.5 and stands nicely on its own or you can hang it up!
  • I love this Red Christmas Tree - I think of  hot chocolate with peppermint and cozy pj's umm! It measures 12 x 12 x 1.5 and stands nicely on its own or you can hang it up!

  • Celebrate Spring - give a shout out to the Luck of the Irish and St. Patrick's Day! The leaves of a four leaf clover are said by some to stand for faith, hope, love and luck.  Others think that the 4 leaf clover will grant you the ability to see fairies... they are unique and cool either way!
  • I LOVE Barn Quilts - here's our answer to having one you can see every day! Rustic but refined, this simple two-color combination is a winner - a beautiful geometric quilt block finished in black and whites shades, I bet you have the perfect place for it! Karla sent us this note about her barn quilt block:

I wanted to let you know that the beautiful wood quilt block arrived safely. It is so pretty!!!! You did such a wonderful job!!! The navy color is perfect!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and time in making both of my quilt blocks. I appreciate your willingness to find a navy color that matched what I was wanting. Thank you!!! You have been so kind!!! ~Karla S

  • I love fall-  the crisp mornings, cool evenings, and the colors! Really can there be to much golds, reds and rusts?
  • I've always loved this quilt pattern.  So traditional yet fits into a modern setting very well. We painted this on in fall colors - using a rich buttery cream and a wonderful pumpkin color.  I can almost smell the pies and bread baking!
  • Who was the Farmer's Daughter? I'd love to know, quilt block names are a mystery to me! One of the things I really like about this block is it’s simplicity, and yet it has quite a bit of visual interest. Even though it’s clearly a traditional design, it still translates well into modern quilts. The Farmer’s Daughter Quilt Block pattern is made up of simple squares and half square triangles typically using three colors - but how cute would it be with just two...
  • I often describe this as a Rustic Quilt Ladder, but really it works great in urban chic, modern or in a farmhouse settings! We used a gray stain that sort of takes on a steel blue gray look - it's really quite striking and looks good with all colors. ** Because of it's size, this item is local pickup only**

  • One of my favorite Quilt Blocks - perfect for Spring! Did you know watching the flight path of geese was used as a guide to find water, food and places to rest? This 12 x 12 x1.5 inch square is a good example of flying geese flight patterns! Make from individually cut pieces of wood, glued together and framed. No two blocks are alike!
  • I love half square triangles - endless possibilities!
